After ten years designing websites — for businesses, passion projects, and everything in between — I built Crater for the ones I love working with most: small, craft-led studios whose websites never quite kept up with their work. The format is deliberately narrow so the quality stays high, the timeline stays short, and every page is built to convert.
Agencies are built for big retainers and long timelines. Craft-led studios need something else: a site that works as hard as they do, a fair flat fee, and their evenings back. That’s the whole idea. No account managers, no handoffs — you talk to the person doing the work, every time.
